Coca-Cola London Eye is a 135 metre high Ferris wheel on the South bank.

It has got the nickname Millennium Wheel, its previous name was British Airways London Eye, but now it is called Coca-Cola London Eye.

Designed by Marks Barfield architects, it was opened in 2000 as part of London’s celebration of the millennium. There are 32 capsules that provide a 360 degree view of London, offering a fantastic view of the capital.

It is known around the world as it is here where London hosts its fire display during New Year celebrations, attracting thousands of people alongside the banks of the river to watch the spectacular show.
